Coffee Talk: Mineralized Eye Shadows/Pigments

I am so ashamed. I realized I haven't done a COFFEE TALK in such a long time. I loved writing these and hearing everyone's opinions! So...how's abouts we bring it back? :)

I am a huge fan of helping small businesses that are looking for people to test out their products. This is pretty popular with the new mineralized eye shadows that are coming out of the woodwork these days.

A lot of my subscribers on YouTube tell me they don't like mineralized shadows because they don't know how to use them, etc. I understand completely. When I first started out, the very first pigment I ever bought was a L'Oreal HIP pigment. I didn't have a clue as to how to handle it. Basically ladies - you just PLAY! I mades a complete mess of my eye on many occasions, but now I think I can maneuver my way around with the brush to get the pigments where I want them.

So tell me your thoughts on pigments...
Do you like them or hate them?
Do you have a preference over your shadow?
Do you prefer pan to mineralized?
Have you used a pressed pigment before?
If so, does that make it easier to manipulate?

my thoughts:
I like pigments but I tend to hardly ever go for them. I have tons of samples and love all of the colors, but I can't figure out why I don't use them as much. I don't necessarily have a preference to shadows over pigments, they mainly don't get used on a daily basis because out of sight - out of mind. I'm going to work on that and use them more than I do now! As for pressed pigments - for me - I am completely apathetic. I don't care if it's pressed or loose.

Now it's your turn!
TELL ME your thoughts in the comments below :)
