I have always loved to write, but never took the time to sit down and pursue it. Some of my best friends are English teachers and they tell me they forget I am not one - high school biology and environmental science teacher here.
Since moving to Maryland, I have decided to pursue writing seriously. My first fiction urban fantasy novel was completed July 9, 2010 at 3:47 am. Since then, I have edited, revised, and changed my novel to be geared towards young adults. With hopes of turning this into a series, I started writing book two during the 2010 NaNoWriMo only to leave it to return to revisions. I have about nine other works in progress waiting for the right time to begin.
I am currently researching literary agents, publishers, and editors that might find my manuscript interesting and worth their time. Writing is now a passion (much like makeup, scrapbooking, losing weight - anything my mind decided to do really) and I am obsessed with it. I hope to continue to update the interested on my writing as it continues.
